The festive season is upon us, and that means eating lots of food together with friends and family. The Foodadit team got together to share some Christmas recipes. Everyone made at least one dish and the result was a delicious, seasonal and healthy feast.
Everything was vegan, gluten free, and most of the dishes were sugar free too. As we were cooking, we drank Alanna’s warming, spiced Christmas in a Cup – Apple and Pear Punch. Nina started off the meal with a Butternut Squash and Beetroot Soup. I made a Red Cabbage, Carrot and Onion Sauerkraut and a Trio of Almond Cheeses.
Alanna also provided Christmas Cabbage and Pear, inspired by German Rotkohl along with her Brazil Nut and Brussel Sprout Bake. Kasia also made an incredible cauliflower mash, with sun-dried tomatoes and parsley, which rounded off the meal beautifully.
